TRAIL RIDE DESCRIPTIONS & RATES

1 HOUR LOOP RIDE:
$69.00/person + tax. 6-12 years old are $64.00 + tax/child.
This is our easiest ride which goes around the southern end of a hill with not much elevation gain. This ride is perfect for more nervous riders and younger children. The ride offers great scenery of the Sonoran Desert and close up view of saguaros, cholla and more! The 1 hour ride is a great introduction to horseback riding! This ride leaves daily at 9am, 11am, 1pm, and 3pm.

1 HOUR SUNSET RIDE:
$89.00.+ tax, 6-12 years old $84.00 + tax/child.
This spectacular ride puts you out on the trail as the sun sets and you ride into our corral at dusk. This shorter ride is the perfect way to view the desert and a world class sunset at a quiet time of the day. Call for times and additional information.

1.5 HOUR RIDE:
$89.00/person + tax, 6-12 years old $84.00 + tax/child.
This ride has several trail options, depending upon the size and riding ability of the group. Our variety of trail options make this a perfect ride for beginners or experienced riders. We feel our 1.5 hour ride is one of the best rides we offer. This is a great ride for those who want to spend time in the scenic Sonoran Desert on the back of a gentle mountain horse. 1.5 HOUR SUNSET RIDE:

Our premier ride offered at a quiet, peaceful time of the day. Ride times vary as we want you on the horses as the sun is setting, coming in at dusk. Call for times and additional information

2 HOUR RIDE:
$129.00 + tax, 6-12 years old $124.00 + tax/child.
This longer ride is for great for more seasoned riders that want to see great views of the surrounding Sonoran Desert. The two hour ride gains around 500ft of elevation and is perfect for intermediate or experienced riders. By Reservation at 8:30 am & 12:30 pm

2.5 HOUR RIDE:
$169.00 + tax, 6-12 years old $164.00 + tax/child. Four person minimum during peak seasons.
This new Quartz Trail is quickly becoming one of our favorites, with it’s quartz outcroppings, gentle slopes, and beautiful Sonoran Desert views this trail is a must see. The 2.5hr ride is perfect for guests who have ridden with us before and would like try something new! By Reservation at 8:30 am & 12:30 pm

3 HOUR RIDE:
$189.00 per person + tax 6-12 years old $184.00 + tax/child. with a Four person minimum during peak seasons.
Go John Trail tours through rugged back-country passes, mines and rides through different ecosystems. You will see the best of the Cave Creek Recreation Area. The three hour ride is not recommended for beginner riders due to difficult terrain. By Reservation at 8:30 am & 12:30 pm

HISTORIC CLAY MINE RIDE (1.5 HR PROGRAM):
$89/person +tax.
If you love history, geology and the desert, this ride is the perfect fit for you! This ride allows guests to get a hands on history lesson at the Cave Creek Regional Park’s historic Clay Mine. The ride leaves from the corrals and crosses the mountain to the mine where riders will dismount and receive a guided walking tour INTO the mine! The interpretive guide will be giving an overview of the mine’s interesting history. Once the mine tour is finished, guests will saddle up and ride back to the corral. This ride is a very special opportunity to get to see in the inside of the mine which is usually closed to the public. RESERVATIONS ARE REQUIRED FOR THIS RIDE. Good to Know Info…

We are located inside the Cave Creek Regional Park so there will be a $7/vehicle fee to get inside the park. This fee goes directly towards trail maintenance and keeping the area pristine and clean!

Kids MUST be six years old to do our trail rides. We do not allow any double riding for safety reasons.

Our weight limit is 230lb. This is to better protect our guests and our horses. Due to the terrain of our rides, anyone over these limits would be putting themselves and the horses at increased risk.

All cancellations and reservations changes must be made by 5pm the day before your ride. After that time you will be charged for the amount of spots that you saved.

If you are bringing a minor child without a legal parent or guardian, you can print our riding waivers here! Otherwise, you can sign all waivers when you arrive! Acknowledgement of Risk and Helmet Waiver

This address will get you close to the park entrance. Continue North on 32nd Street, it will dead end at the Cave Creek Regional Park entrance. There is a $7/vehicle fee to get into the park. Once you’re in the park, we are 1/4 mile past the entrance on the left hand side!
