Great Easter Weekend

We had a great Easter Weekend this year. We had approximately 200 riders over the course of the weekend and had beautiful weather to top it off!

We are starting are great trek up to Idaho with our first load of horses going up last week and the next load going up this week. In total, we will be moving 60 head of horses back to our central Idaho location.

We want to thank our amazing crew and guests that make this lifestyle possible. We are so appreciative of our guests, especially our return riders who come back and ride every time they visit Phoenix, AZ. This has been a great year for us at Cave Creek Trail Rides. We are looking forward to our 2014-2015 season. We had a few new exciting programs in the works (possibly a ride to the clay mine where you get a personal guided tour through the mine by the park ranger)!

We hope to see many of you our last weekend of operation, Mother’s Day Weekend- May 9th-11th. Be sure to keep up with our adventures in Idaho by reading our blogs at

Spring Break Winding Down…

Now that spring break has started winding down I finally have some time to sit down and type. We have been pretty busy here at CCT these past few weeks. We have had visitors from all over the county (and all over the world) come out and ride with us. The weather for March was absolutely amazing, mid to low 80s and even a few days in the 70s.

With our busy crunch behind us we are starting to look ahead at projects and chores that must get done in order for us to head back to Idaho. We couldn’t have asked for a better season in Cave Creek, Arizona. We have a great crew, awesome horses, and amazing guests that make our work more like play.

We aren’t leaving yet though! We have decided to stay open through Mother’s Day Weekend, and you know what that means? All mothers ride for 1/2 off May 9th-11th! Be sure to take your mother out on a special ride she will never forget and say goodbye to us before we head back north! (Don’t worry, we will be back in October).
