TRAIL RIDE DESCRIPTIONS & RATES
1 HOUR LOOP RIDE:
$69.00/person + tax (6-12 years old are $64.00 + tax/child)
This ride is a full hour in the saddle! The trail goes around the southern end of the foothills, offering great views of the Sonoran Desert as well as saguaros, cholla and more! The 1hr ride is perfect for more nervous riders and younger children and is a great introduction to mountain horseback riding!
This ride leaves daily at 9am, 11am, 1pm, and 3pm.
1 HOUR SUNSET RIDE:
$89.00/person+ tax (6-12 years old $84.00 + tax/child)
This shorter ride is the perfect way to view the desert and a world class sunset at a quiet time of the day. Riders can enjoy watching the sun set around them as the trail heads west, back to the corrals at dusk.

1.5 HOUR RIDE:
$89.00/person + tax (6-12 years old $84.00 + tax/child)
The 1.5hr ride has several trail options, depending upon the size and riding ability of the group. The variety of trails available make this a perfect ride for beginners or experienced riders. We feel our 1.5 hour ride is one of the best rides we offer and is the perfect amount of time in the saddle for most people. This is a great ride for those who want to spend time in the scenic Sonoran Desert on the back of a gentle mountain horse.

2 HOUR RIDE:
$129.00 + tax (6-12 years old $124.00 + tax/child) Four person minimum during peak seasons.
The 2hr ride is for great for confident and more seasoned riders that want to see great views of the surrounding Sonoran Desert. The trail gains around 500ft of elevation through rocky and scenic country and is perfect for intermediate or experienced riders.

2.5 HOUR RIDE:
$169.00/person + tax (6-12 years old $164.00 + tax/child) Four person minimum during peak seasons.
The 2.5hr ride follows the scenic Quartz Trail through the Cave Creek Regional Park. The trail has gentle slopes and great views of the Sonoran Desert as well as massive quartz outcroppings throughout the ride. The 2.5hr trail is perfect for guests who have ridden with us before and would like try something new!

3 HOUR RIDE:
$189.00/person + tax (6-12 years old $184.00 + tax/child) Four person minimum during peak seasons.
The 3hr ride is a challenging and technical ride that is perfect for confident and advanced riders who are looking for more time in the saddle. The Go John Trail offers amazing views throughout the entire Cave Creek Regional Park. The trail has steep, narrow and rocky sections that horse and rider must maneuver through. The three hour ride is not recommended for beginner riders due to difficult terrain.

HISTORIC CLAY MINE RIDE (1.5 HR PROGRAM):
$89/person +tax
If you love history, geology and the desert, this ride is the perfect fit for you! This ride allows guests to get a hands on history lesson at the Cave Creek Regional Park’s historic Clay Mine. The ride leaves from the corrals and crosses the mountain to the mine where riders will dismount and receive a guided walking tour INTO the mine! The interpretive guide will be giving an overview of the mine’s interesting history. Once the mine tour is finished, guests will saddle up and ride back to the corral. This ride is a very special opportunity to get to see in the inside of the mine which is usually closed to the public.

Good to Know Info…
We are located inside the Cave Creek Regional Park so there will be a $7/vehicle fee to get inside the park. This fee goes directly towards trail maintenance and keeping the area pristine and clean!
Kids MUST be six years old to do our trail rides. We do not allow any double riding for safety reasons.
Our weight limit is 230lb. This is to better protect our guests and our horses. Anyone over these limits would be putting themselves and the horses at risk.
All cancellations and reservations changes must be made by 5pm the day before your ride. After that time you will be charged for the amount of spots that you saved.
If you are bringing a minor child without a legal parent or guardian, you can print our riding waivers here! Otherwise, you can sign all waivers when you arrive! Liability and Helmet Waiver (Please note that all kids 6-12years old will be required to wear helmets)

This address will get you close to the park entrance. Continue North on 32nd Street, it will dead end at the Cave Creek Regional Park entrance. There is a $7/vehicle fee to get into the park. Once you’re in the park, we are 1/4 mile past the entrance on the left hand side!
